New Homes are too Small
Design watchdog, Cabe found that new-build private-sector homes in and around London don’t have enough room for everyday activities, such as preparing food easily and having friends around for dinner.
Research carried out by Cabe on 2,500 private new home owners found that 47% of residents of new-build housing in London and the South East did not have enough space for the furniture they had acquired.
